Do I need council approval to install a spa?

It has been our experience that different local councils within each state can have varying regulations on the installation of spa pools. Therefore  it is best to check directly with your local council, or consult your local Spa World consultant on what the regulations are in your area.

An example would be that for most local councils in New South Wales, a portable spa with a rigid lockable hardcover does not require approvals, however it would need to be registered with the council to ensure that you have a resuscitation chart and a lockable cover.
